The Kent Homes management team is made up of individuals, each with outstanding experience and credentials, who are dedicated to a common goal—to deliver the highest caliber home at the best possible price for our clients.
Dan Kent - Founder, President
Dan graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Administration in Business in 1983. After college he worked for the national building company Pulte Homes for six years-three in Houston, Texas, and three in Wilmington, North Carolina. In 1989 Dan founded Kent Homes, a residential building company specializing in single family homes. In 2005, Dan also founded Custom Builders of North Carolina, a purchasing group consisting of more than 30 builders in the Wilmington metro area that negotiates with vendors and suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and terms on the products they purchase. Dan is a former president of the local Home Builders Association. He and his wife Miriam have three children.
